Outdoor Tasting Bar

People gather around the outdoor tasting bar at Lighthall Vineyards on a beautiful, sunny day

We love visiting with guests at our outdoor tasting bar! Rain or shine, there’s nothing better than enjoying a sip of wine and bite of cheese out in the fresh air. However, we want this experience to be fun and enjoyable for everyone. That’s why we will be implementing the following policies and practices to ensure everyone at Lighthall Vineyards stays safe, happy, and healthy.

Outdoor Tasting Bar Operation Schedule

  • It is our intent for the outdoor tasting bar to be open for the entirety of the summer season, starting around mid-April and ending around Mid-October or as long as the weather and air quality are favorable.

  • Occasionally we will cease outdoor tasting operations for a variety of reasons. These include but are not limited to:

    • When the air quality hits a level 6 on the Air Quality Health Index as report by the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks - Belleville Station

    • When the temperature hit s above 31 degrees, a humidex in the mid to late 30’s (35-39+) or a combination of the two

    • When any heat and/or weather-based warnings as reported by the Government of Canada are in effect for Prince Edward County

We will update the status of the tasting bar daily which you can find on our website in the footer or on our Instagram. You can also give us a call at 613-767-9155 to ensure the status of the outdoor tasting.
